Black women nutrition and the impact of physical health on mental wellbeing

Join us for a thought-provoking online session during Black History Month as we delve into the vital intersection of nutrition, physical health, and mental well-being, with a special focus on celebrating Black women's resilience and strength. This year's Black History Month theme, "Celebrating Our Sisters," inspires us to spotlight the experiences and achievements of Black women who have contributed immensely to our communities and society at large.

The connection between physical and mental health is clear and overall health and wellbeing is dependent on both. How we eat and what we consume can affect not only our physical being but also our mental health. Food and nutrition can often be culturally dictated and are an important factor for any ethnic group. Black women often take a central role in this in their households and their communities. This session will focus on how good nutrition can be achieved as well as how to allow for better physical health in an ever-demanding society.

#EmbracingOurSisters

Who Should Attend:

This event is exclusively designed for Black women who are interested in gaining a deeper understanding of the impact nutrition and physical health have on mental well-being. Whether you're a mental health professional, a parent, an advocate, or simply passionate about promoting inclusivity and well-being within the Black motherhood community, this event offers valuable insights and perspectives tailored to your experiences.
